Purpose/Desired Learning Outcome
At the end of this activity, participants will be able to improve clinical practice and the accuracyof interpretation and diagnosis with a focus on the potential applications and limitations of
cardiovascular CT, as well as technological advances in the field. The goal of this activity is to
improve patient care and treatment by increasing learner competence in diagnosing
cardiovascular disease through the use of cardiac CT by improving performance of physicians
and technologists performing and interpreting cardiac CT, leading to improved accuracy in
diagnosing or ruling out coronary artery disease.
